In a motion of unparalleled flattery to the United States, Iran has renamed the danish pastry to “roses of Muhammad” in protest of the Danish cartoon depicting the prophet Muhammad.
I think this is Iran’s way of saying “America, we like the way you handled those pesky Frenchmen by renaming your french fries. We shall do the same. Viva la revolution!”
…or whatever the Iranian word for “viva” might be…
