Google will be adding some calendar functions to its nifty gmail accounts in the future. Some screenshots of the unreleased product can be found here. They’re still working on it, but it looks pretty cool.
Web-based calendars are a great idea. I think many applications that we use on our computers each day will eventually be web-based. There’s no reason that programs like Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc can’t be built on the web to function just as well and be completely accessible from anywhere in the world….not just on your computer at work.
I think eventually all applications will be totally mobile like this.
