Justine and I will be heading off to New Orleans tomorrow to visit her grandmother, aunt & uncle. I’m curious to see how the city has recovered from hurricanes Rita and Katrina last year.
I know there are still a lot of folks who are still homeless and a lot of business are still recovering. We’re staying at a hotel in the French Quarter, which I hear was untouched by the flooding that hit the lower sections of town.
I hope to get some photos on the blog in the next few days about what we’ve seen.
(Yes mom, we’ll be careful.)
