After a long walk through the Strand in Galveston, the ladies needed some booze to keep going. Note - it is totally legal to drink on the streets of Galveston. Yee-haw.

Fancy freakin’ razor

I broke down recently and got one of those fancy Gillete battery-powered, 5-bladed face-scrapers and I am loathe to admit it, but I actually like it.
I think it costs a couple dollars more than the non-powered one, but it was worth it. The vibrating head actually feels smoother than the non-vibrating head.
I’ve been using […]

The Record Industry Association of America (RIAA) has been on a tear over the last few years suing people over “illegal downloading” on the internet. They have been attacking folks in an almost silly way, refusing to embrace the downloading culture (as Apple has done with iTunes) that has been growing over the last […]

Hello, my adoring public. Justine here. I know I haven’t posted in awhile, but I shall make it up to you my darlings. But first–a small revelation.

And they use too much manure too.
Here’s the link
My favorite quote:
“Most of the farms around here are in pretty good shape,” Mr. Levan said.
But some have too much manure, he added.”
Have a good weekend everyone.

It’s hot in Houston.
Supposed to reach the upper 90’s today.
We’re expected to have rolling blackouts due to massive A/C power consumption in the city.
For the love of God, it’s only April. I expected this in July or August, but it’s only April.
I need to move. This is crazy.

I posted a preview of Google’s Calendar software a while back and am happy to discover that according to the Google Blog, Google Calendar is officially live.
You can set up and control several different calendars accessible by your friends and family. Say you have a knitting group that meets weekly and a roller derby […]
