Justine and I are off to Colorado for the 4th of July week. We’re looking forward to seeing all of our friends and celebrating Anne & Larry’s marriage…and with any luck, we’ll fit a few good hikes in there too.

While looking through some of my old Colorado pictures (in order to choose the picture above of Lake Isabelle) I can’t figure out why I ever left that place. Could it be the fresh air of Houston? (Probably not.) I guess jobs can seem far more important than they really should be.

Regardless, I’m packed and ready to fly.
