Galveston Island

It’s funny. As soon as I cross the bridge from mainland Texas to Galveston Island I start to immediately relax. The people here have two pairs of flip-flops…one casual and one formal. I like it here. The picture above is from our hotel window.

Only two pairs of flip-flops? Are they deprived in some way? How do they survive?
