I’ve been using Portable Apps on my thumb drive for 6-8 months now and I thought I’d let everyone know just how cool it is. If you’re not familiar with USB flash drives (nicknamed “thumb drives” - because they are about the size of your thumb) they are small devices that you plug […]

By the way, next time you happen to see me, ask me how much US Airways sucks as an airline.

After a white-knuckled flight out of Charlotte, NC yesterday in a 30 passenger prop plane in a driving rain storm we landed in Huntington, WV.  I only felt like vomiting three times during this hour long flight, but I consider my self lucky that I didn’t.
The hillbillies on board looked pretty green around the gills […]

I’m so proud of her. She’s training for the 40 mile walk for breast cancer next summer and she’s doing very well.
Now […]

Matthew Baldwin, a clever blogger from Seattle, Washington, is reading Moby Dick and writing about his experience on his blog.  He’s a pretty funny guy.
Moby Dick happens to be one of my favorite American novels.   I sort of hope Matthew likes it when he’s done.

Usability is an interesting thing. I attended a conference in San Francisco back in July on the topic of web usability. However, I think usability in general is a very interesting subject that affects us nearly every day whether we know it or not. Have you ever tried to push open […]
