I’ve been using Portable Apps on my thumb drive for 6-8 months now and I thought I’d let everyone know just how cool it is. If you’re not familiar with USB flash drives (nicknamed “thumb drives” - because they are about the size of your thumb) they are small devices that you plug […]

By the way, next time you happen to see me, ask me how much US Airways sucks as an airline.

After a white-knuckled flight out of Charlotte, NC yesterday in a 30 passenger prop plane in a driving rain storm we landed in Huntington, WV. I only felt like vomiting three times during this hour long flight, but I consider my self lucky that I didn’t.
The hillbillies on board looked pretty green around the gills […]

This is pretty interesting.
Take 5 minutes out of your day to complete this brief survey about religion. This survey matches your beliefs up with the belief structures of numerous religions. The results are returned in the form of a matching percentage for each religion.
Here are my matches:

I have a million dollar idea for a book. Do you want to know what it would be called?
Title: “How I would kill OJ Simpson”
Subtitle: “If I were a killer, but, of course, I’m not”
I think the public would buy tons of them.

Justine and I walked 10K today in Memorial Park in Houston. Actually, if you count walking the dog, Justine walked another mile or two this morning. (Yes, we’re counting that, by God.)
I’m so proud of her. She’s training for the 40 mile walk for breast cancer next summer and she’s doing very well.
Now […]

Matthew Baldwin, a clever blogger from Seattle, Washington, is reading Moby Dick and writing about his experience on his blog. He’s a pretty funny guy.
Moby Dick happens to be one of my favorite American novels. I sort of hope Matthew likes it when he’s done.
