John Hodgman, who plays the PC on Apple’s Mac commercials wrote 700 hobo names for fun. Most of them are quite creative.
700 artists have since drawn all 700 hobo names.
This might take a while, so you may need to get a sandwich and drink while you’re reading all of them.

Are you good at swearing?
You can prove your potty mouth by playing the profane game. If you play, please post your score in the comments so I can see how hnaughty you really are. The rules are quite easy. You type as many swear words as you can in 60 seconds. The high score when […]

Justine and I had a lovely evening Saturday. Here are the highlights:
1. 2 Dozen roses
2. A littel dog vomit (don’t ask).
3. Dinner at Vic & Anthony’s
4. Some gifts from me in a little blue box
5. A little dancing on the rooftop of our building
Other than the dog vomit, we both had a lovely time. It’s […]

This is a satallite image from Google Maps of the SR-71 spy plane docked just a few blocks away from the Lincoln Tunnel in New York City. Isn’t it ironic that citizens can now spy on a spy plane?
The actual map page can be found here.

String theory is tricky.
It’s a theory that explains the existence of everything, that up to now, had no way of being proved or disproved.
That is all about to change. Scientists have developed a test that involves smashing little bits of matter with other little bits of matter to watch how particles called “W bosons” […]

Our good friends at Google quietly launched a new feature on the Google Personal pages today. I must say, they dropped the ball this time. They put tiny little plus signs on their feed readers that are so unfriendly to use they made me cringe when I clicked on them.
The little plus signs […]

I know it sounds like a hot day in England, but it’s actually the name of an Indian restaurant here in Houston. It’s Justine’s favorite Indian restaurant, as a matter of fact. We went there tonight to try to burn the congestion out of our chests with the help of some of their hot curry […]

As seen on Cool Tools…
I just bookmarked one of the most helpful phone lists on the planet. It’s a phone list of major US companies and how to skip all the automated menu bullshit and quickly speak to a real live human being. The phone list is called GetHuman and is a brilliant idea.
I wish […]
