A very famous, bald, yellow-skinned man once said “mmmm…beeeeer” and the world embraced that fat, bald, yellow-skinned man with open arms.
Well, if you like beer (like I do) and happen to live near Asheville, North Carolina (unfortunately, I do not) you’d be a fool not to swing by Brusin’ Ales and embrace a few bottles of your favorite brew.
Pals of mine and substitute Trappist Monks, Julie and Jason Atallah have just opened up their beer-lovers paradise at 66 Broadway St across from the Mellow Mushroom in in Asheville. Justine and I hope to visit one day and sit in a kiddie pool filled with Chimay Grand Reserve.
Because…well…why wouldn’t you?
Here’s the info for anyone who happens to be nearby…and if not, it’s still worth the drive.

Julie and Jay, good luck to both of you on the new business and fresh start in the coolest town in North Carolina. Let me know when I can do a cannonball into that Chimay-filled kiddie pool, ok?
