Physicists develop test for string theory

Posted by: Dave In: Science

String theory is tricky.

It’s a theory that explains the existence of everything, that up to now, had no way of being proved or disproved.

That is all about to change. Scientists have developed a test that involves smashing little bits of matter with other little bits of matter to watch how particles called “W bosons” react.
