The Virginia Tech massacre

Posted by: Dave In: Current Affairs |Media

I have nothing of real value to add to the unbelievable distress that this is event is causing so many people other than a sad-but-true quote from Woody Allen:

“More than any other time in history, mankind faces a crossroads. One path leads to despair and utter hopelessness. The other, to total extinction. Let us pray we have the wisdom to choose correctly.”

I need a media-free diet for a while.  All this carnage is enough to grind the happiness right out of the world.

I’m going to quote this quote. Fortunately I’ve seen none of the TV coverage of this grinding-happiness-out-of-the-world thing.
