Busy friggin week here in the moist armpit of the south

Posted by: Dave In: Misc | Productivity

What’s that line about the one-legged man in an ass-kicking contest? Or was it the long-tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs? Regardless of the cheesy analogy, I’ve been slammed at work over the past few days. My boss is out of town and so is one of my designers.

Funny enough, this means I am going to more meetings AND doing more design and production myself. We’ve also stopped farming out work to a design firm that we have been using for several month because of quality and deadline issues (they were lacking both).

I seem calm at work because the only screaming I do is in my own head where nobody can hear me.

Weeks like this make me want to dig ditches for a living.

You see, when you dig a ditch, there is a beginning, middle and end.

That picture will certainly give your co-workers pause to wonder “will Scott ever snap and beat us all to death with his keyboard?”

That’s a good feeling, isn’t it?
