Thank god that that ignorant bigot has passed away. I only hope that the people that he hurt by his bigotry will have some measure of peace now that Falwell has been silenced.

He once wrote “gays are responsible for 9/11″ who cant see through a statement like that? His institution was founded on ignorance and hate and I hope people can distance themselves from this self serving monster. May this liar take his proper place in infamy along with the taliban

Justine mentioned that some businesses here in Texas have lowered their flags to half-mast. I can only assume it has something to do with Jerry Falwell’s death.

I only wish he would have gone in a more dramatic fashion…like perhaps giving a commencement speech for a graduation. If his last words were something like “if I’m lying, may God strike me dead” and he were struck by a lightning bolt, it would have been absolutely fantastic.
