Google has recently launched a nifty Street View feature in their Google Maps product. This essentially gives the user a street level view of the surroundings. It’s very cool for finding landmarks if you are cartographically challenged and need a building or reference point to guide you.
Go to google maps and click on the “Street View” button in the upper right corner. Unfortunately not all cities are being supported at this time, but so far they have Denver, Philadelphia, LA, Miami and San Francisco (of course).
This is pretty nifty. I wonder if they will offer it for mobile devices?
