Part of me thinks the whirlwind of hype surrounding the iPhone is absolutely ridiculous.
Another part of me (the nerdy, gadget-loving part) wants one anyhow.
Will the iPhone revolutionize mobile communication as all of the commericals promise? Who knows. However, there are phones out today that can do all of the things the iPhone is rumored to do.
Will it be a status symbol, like iPods and Blackberrys and BMWs?
Most definitely.
