Time to throw away your watch

Posted by: Dave In: Philosophy|Science

From Discover Magazine: Efforts to understand time below the Planck scale have led to an exceedingly strange juncture in physics. Some two sentence music reviews

Posted by: Dave In: Music

I went music shopping this weekend and got the following albums which I will review in two sentences or less below: 1. Interpol: Our love to admire – Duran Duran used to be this cool in the 80’s, but faded away like an old printer cartridge. Interpol picked up where they left off and shook […]

Would you buy icecubes?

Posted by: Dave In: Weird

At $5 bucks for a .75 liters of ice, this is pretty pricey.  I’m not sure if it’s genius marketing or a completely ridiculous idea.  At that price, a gallon of water cost around $25. Link (via Treehugger) -Dave

  • Dave: Not sure, Bryan, but I'd love to know where Craig lives.
  • Bryan Hanks: What city were those in?

  • epiphenita: Like Tom Waits without the music.
  • epiphenita: Reminds me of my good friend's artwork: http://victoriacarlson.blogspot.com/2009/06/untitled.html
  • Dave: I think someone should make some dance music from those "WHOAHs."
  • epiphenita: Oh, Dave. That was tonic to my soul. Perfect. I vote for an exorcism.
  • Dave: Hmm, looks sober to me.
  • Scott: I'm thinking that the guy with the hat might have had a drink or two before this picture was taken. Just a hunch...
  • Scott: There's a roleplaying scenario just waiting to be written based on these pictures. :-)

Stepping over the steaming pile of reality. This is one man's journey into the absurd.
