Scariest live-action Bert costume ever.

Posted by: Dave In: TV| Weird

My childhood visions of Sesame Street have just been permanently scarred.  I think, perhaps, Bert has just finished eating the day-old corpse Ernie and is in the middle of a stand-off with the cops.
As a matter of fact, he just finished telling the cops that he won’t be taken alive.
Creepy, eh?

You may now eat the bride

Posted by: Dave In: Food & Drink| Weird

I don’t know about you, but I find this wedding cake more than a little disturbing.   Is it just me or does it seem a bit canibalistic for your wedding party to cut you up and eat you at the end of the meal?

Mike Patton interview

Posted by: Dave In: Film| Music

Movieweb has a great interview with avantgarde rocker, Mike Patton. Apparently he did some work for Hollywood on Will Smith’s I Am Legend. I think he’s probably the busiest guy in rock-n-roll.

I, too, am speechless. I’m sure many of you are wondering…”Jesus Dave, where do you find this crazy shit?”
I honestly don’t have a good explanation for you. This sort of thing just finds ME.

Johnny Cash covers Soundgarden’s Rusty Cage

Posted by: Dave In: Film| Music

I love the change-up at the 1:30 minute mark. Good stuff, and a classic Soundgarden tune from my college years.

Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody

I’m not sure if you are able recognize pure music genius when you see it. Because of this, I have posted the video above to show you exactly what pure musical genius looks like.
Jerry Phillips is a musical genius.

  • Joshua: Rush rules. Have you heard of the new documentary?
  • Scott: Damn, if he was DM'ing, I'd actually have to play, just for the show!
