That little critter appears to be more smiley and less bitey than the one in alien, but perhaps that’s a disguise. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if it sprang out of there, hid, and then went on to kill all of the ship’s complement. It looks like it would even eat Jones.
Somebody should turn that thing into footwear before more people die.
