These are kids from Aaron O’Keefe’s music class.

Students’ ages:
Drums Tyler Rogers – 12yrs
Guitar Blake Hillard – 12yrs
Vocals Peter Hoffman – 13yrs
Guitar Matt Lohmueller – 13yrs
Guitar Tommy Floegel – 13yrs
Bass Sam Parsons – 16yrs
Guitar Joe Hubbell – 16 yrs

Even if you don’t like the music, you have to be amazed at the talent of these kids. (I happen to like the music too).

Rock on, kids!

Love Pantera. Was skeptical. Loved it. I was most surprised by the vocals – not sure how much remixing, post-production was involved, but whatever, still impressed!

I suspect there’s some audio production wizardry going on here, but regardless, it sounded fantastic for a bunch of kids.

This is clean production and rehearsal more so than talent. To give credit where it’s due, the kids obviously worked hard to be able to play this cleanly and tightly together. The individual parts really aren’t that impressive except for the one guitar solo.

  • Dave: Not sure, Bryan, but I'd love to know where Craig lives.
  • Bryan Hanks: What city were those in?
  • Kevin David Anderson: check out our other wreaths at: http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10150452725264516.391111.360128594515&type=3
  • epiphenita: Like Tom Waits without the music.
  • epiphenita: Reminds me of my good friend's artwork: http://victoriacarlson.blogspot.com/2009/06/untitled.html
  • Dave: I think someone should make some dance music from those "WHOAHs."
  • epiphenita: Oh, Dave. That was tonic to my soul. Perfect. I vote for an exorcism.
  • Dave: Hmm, looks sober to me.
  • Scott: I'm thinking that the guy with the hat might have had a drink or two before this picture was taken. Just a hunch...
  • Scott: There's a roleplaying scenario just waiting to be written based on these pictures. :-)

Stepping over the steaming pile of reality. This is one man's journey into the absurd.
