Cellswapper

Posted by: Dave In: Gadgets|Technology

OK, this is a pretty cool service.  Do you want to get out of a cell phone contract to get that new iPhone? You can swap your cell contract with someone looking to do the same at CellSwapper. This is a genius idea.  I’m surprised someone hasn’t come up with it sooner. -Dave

Will it blend?

Posted by: Dave In: Film|Gadgets|Weird

Best.  Blender.  Ever. Will it blend? Check out the “do not try at home” videos of this blender in action.  The bottle of beer and handful of marbles videos are quite impressive.  They’re selling these babies for $400 a piece.  I honestly think it might be worth it. -Dave

Posted by: Dave In: Gadgets|Productivity|Travel|Web

Google Mobile gets a face lift

Posted by: Dave In: Gadgets|Web

If you use Google Mobile to win trivia bets in bars (like I do) you’ll be happy to know it got a redesign recently. Remember all those times you’ve been asked “What color was Ben Kenobi’s lightsaber?” or “Why is Kirk Cameron a putz?”? Now you can ask Google with your phone and regain that [...]
