Since I completely dissed P-town last year, I feel the need to make reparation to my loyal readers who may have held a divergent opinion.

Well folks, we’re back in Houston.
The flight was fairly smooth and shortly after we landed we found our way to our favorite asian restaurant in Houston.
One good meal (and several glasses of wine later) we are home safe and sound.
We will be picking up Queenie tomorrow; so the Above the Aether grotto is fairly quiet [...]

It’s funny. As soon as I cross the bridge from mainland Texas to Galveston Island I start to immediately relax. The people here have two pairs of flip-flops…one casual and one formal. I like it here. The picture above is from our hotel window.

We need to get out of Houston for a little bit, so we’re headed to Galveston for the weekend (where there is very little hustling or bustling).
I may post once or twice with my phone when I’m there.
Looking forward to getting out of the city for a short while.

This is a picture of Alberta Falls in Rocky Mountains National Park. It was a hot day, but the mist from the falls was cool and breezy. It was a great trip.

Had dinner and drinks with John and Jenny tonight and had a wonderful time. They make me miss Colorado even more. Thanks for a great evening guys. Hope to see you more frequently in the future.

Justine noticed an antique water fountain in the hotel lobby as we were walking back from the hotel bar. Apparently it used to draw water directly from mountain runoff. The hotel is full of stuff like this. Neat place.
According to Justine, the rum mojitos are very good too.
