Hurricane Ike

Posted by: Dave In: Texas| Weather

Hurricane Gustav

Posted by: Dave In: Weather

I’ve drifted somewhat from the distant heart
To pick up even the quickening of wind
Glimmering of light:
Appear to lift up from the lake;
grow hot in [...]

Spam poetry Sunday

Posted by: Dave In: Weather

Yes. The obvious into early blooming.
Then, the inevitable blizzard
That desire has ever built, have approached
And then I go on until I am beneath an archway,
Thinking of your abiding spirit brings
Toward something that the world is pointing toward.
Someone should put a book together of spam poetry.  Some of this actually sounds good.

Spam poetry Tuesday

Posted by: Dave In: Weather

Spammers include text in many of their emails in attempt to trick spam filters into believing they are legitimate emails. Many of them use random text generators that create wacky, stupid, weird, funny and sometimes very creative text blurbs for this purpose. This is the first, of several, spam poetry posts that I [...]
